"The most important thing about The Black Parade, which I'm sure they will mention somewhere in the interview, is that it is not Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. Upon first listening, older fans may find it hard to enjoy the new style of music that My Chemical Romance are presenting, but it is definitely an album that grows on you. Ever since the album appeared on the band's Web site on Thursday, I have been listening to it over and over and over. It's that good. "

This is so true! This was exactly my experience.
I have to stop being bitter toward other fans, because they are "stealing my band" as much as I'm "stealing" theirs. I mean, if I have a right to love them then so do the thousands of others, even if they love My Chem for a superficial reason. They aren't strangers. They're fellow admirers, and in that there is common ground. There are others who understand this band. And I resent them? My Chemical Romance's fame and huge fanbase is inevitable; it's what they've earned.
Occasionally I wonder what my chances are of meeting the band in person. But chance works upon those who who dare to try. And I haven't tried.
